Polaris Vac-Sweep F1
The Polaris 360 is a very clever mechanical device that works great 20% of the time. Because it is made of cheap plastic parts that constantly break, it is more often under repair than in service. Having owned one for about three years now, I can say I've spent twice the original cost on replacement parts and service (even though I do most of the service myself). Hose life is 6 months, and $19 for a 6 foot replacement hose (my hose is 18 feet long). I've bought two of these Polaris 360's used on Craigs list for $100 each to cannibalize for parts (replacement parts are outrageously expensive).Until the manufacturer improves the quality to the ...
