This headboard looks fine, BUT, it does not fit a standard king size bed. It is 3 1/2 inches too wide. I should have checked the dimensions before ordering, but I assumed it was a standard king size. My husband had to create brackets to attach to the headboard and then attach our standard king bed frame to the brackets. Had we not destroyed the packaging before we noticed, we would have returned it. Now that it is set up, it looks lovely, but if you don't have a handy person in the house, do not order this.
