I bought the Aquabot Turbo new in 2004 for about $800. Since then I've spent about $600.00 in repairs and maintenance. When it works, it works well. Here is a list of what I've had to do for it. General maintenance: Replace all belts (three times). This is costly. I've repaired a broken wire for the unit. The drive motor has died once also. Repairs can only be completed by the manufacturer. Shipping is costly and repairs expensive. I'd much rater buy a unit that doesn't rely on an additional power source and have so many extra parts that always need to be replaced.
