I love this desk!! It's huge! I don't know what happened with other peoples shipment, maybe Amazon changed the process, but my desk was shipped by a freight company and was on a pallet. I had no damage from shipment, plus I got free shipping! The desk itself is very well made for particle board. The pieces are thick and dense, very heavy (almost 200lbs).
