When we bought our house, we knew ahead of time that the existing (2.5HP) pump was on its last legs. Sure enough, when we did the final inspection on the day of closing, the old pump had blown the circuit breaker, and our new neighbor told us it had been making a horrific noise for the past couple of days.I ordered the VS3050 from Amazon because it was eligible for Amazon Prime (!!) and so I was able to get it delivered quickly. We had also considered the SVRS model, but after checking the pool drain configuration (minimum of 2 drains in both pool and spa, at least 4 feet apart) we felt we could save some money ...
