Vitamix 1710
I had a choice of Vitamix or Blendtek. I chose Vitamix, my friend and neighbor chose Blendtek. We have been able to compare. My Vitamix has the push stick that is ingenius! It is designed to push the food just to the blades and no further without removing the top. Blendtek does not have this feature and my friend has to constantly remove the top and push with a spoon, shutting down the machine or spray the kitchen with food if she does not. Her Blendtek is SO loud she can be heard using her machine 5 houses away! Then neighbors have asked her NOT to use her Blendtek until after 9:am in ...
